Winter 2009 Photo Contest: Perceptions of UW

Hey all!

The Boar is opening a photo contest for the Winter 2009 term!

The theme this term is your “Perceptions of UW”!

We are looking for anything you think represents the University of Waterloo. A short summary of your thoughts regarding your submission will also be accepted. All submissions will be considered for selection to be posted on our website. The winners of the contest will receive the opportunity to have their work published online, as well as having an artist profile uploaded to accompany their work! The winners will also have the privilege of being contacted for future photo publication opportunities.

Winners will be decided based on votes by our readers.

Deadline: March 29, 2009

Winners will be uploaded and announced April 5, 2009.

To submit, send your work (.jpg, .tiff  formats ONLY) to photos@theboar.ca.

Best of the Boar: Art Contest!

Have your work selected as the best contributed this term! Contribute your artwork to gallery@theboar.ca. If you can’t figure out how to email it to us (no camera?), let us know, and we’ll cook something up. The winner will have an “Artist’s Profile” done up about them and published on theboar.ca.

Keep your eyes peeled for our Gallery section, as our new website gets uploaded with schmancy slide show technology.
